MTA International Africa Trains GBC Staff on AI Tools

MTA International Africa held a week-long training session for staff of the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) in Accra, aimed at equipping media professionals with modern broadcasting and digital product skills. The training focused on advanced editing using emerging AI tools widely used in the global media industry.

Participants were introduced to AI-powered editing software, including Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve, featuring tools for auto-reframing, scene editing, magic mask, voice isolation, and speed warp. The program explored generative AI applications such as ChatGPT for scriptwriting and automated content development.

This training is part of a long-standing collaboration between MTA International Africa and GBC, which began in 2015, aimed at improving broadcast content and online distribution across Africa. MTA International Africa has been providing technical support and specialized training to GBC personnel since its inauguration in August 2016.

The organization operates across several African countries, including Nigeria, Ghana, and Uganda, and expects to celebrate its 10th anniversary in August 2026.
