MTN Nigeria Empowers 18 Women with AI Digital Skills

MTN Nigeria has launched a program to empower 18 Nigerian women with digital skills in artificial intelligence (AI), allowing them to earn foreign currency. This initiative was announced by Ifeoluwa Adegoke, CEO of MTWI Financial Services Nigeria, in a press statement on Tuesday.

The program aims to address the rising cost of living and economic pressures by equipping women with the necessary skills to navigate the digital economy. The training, in partnership with ALX, focuses on freelancing and virtual assistance, enabling participants to manage projects remotely and leverage AI tools for high-value work.

This initiative is part of a broader effort to create access and collaboration for women, enhancing their financial autonomy and participation in the global marketplace. The program emphasizes the importance of digital empowerment for women, allowing them to break geographical barriers and engage in the economy on their own terms.
