MTN Nigeria Board Meeting Set for October 29 to Approve Q3 Results

MTN Nigeria Communications Plc has notified the Nigerian Exchange Limited that its Board of Directors will meet on Thursday, 29 October 2026, to consider and approve the company's unaudited condensed consolidated financial statements for the nine months ending 30 September 2026. The filing also announces the commencement of a closed period beginning 1 October 2026.

MTN Nigeria Communications Plc filed a Board Meeting notice with the Nigerian Exchange Limited on 16 September 2026, disclosing that its Board of Directors is scheduled to meet on Thursday, 29 October 2026. The purpose of the meeting is to consider and approve the unaudited condensed consolidated financial statements covering the nine-month period ending 30 September 2026, along with other agenda items.

In accordance with NGX post-listing requirements, MTN Nigeria will enter a closed period commencing Thursday, 1 October 2026. The closed period will remain in force until 24 hours after the financial statements have been officially released to the public.

During the closed period, the company has stated that insiders and their connected persons are prohibited from directly or indirectly dealing in MTN Nigeria's securities in any manner. The notice was signed by Uto Ukpanah FCIS, Company Secretary, and was issued from the company's corporate head office at MTN Plaza, Falomo, Ikoyi, Lagos. MTN Nigeria currently connects over 92 million subscribers across Nigeria and is a subsidiary of the MTN Group, which operates across 19 markets in Africa and the Middle East.
