MTN Nigeria Suspends Xtratime Airtime Credit Service

MTN Nigeria has temporarily suspended its Xtratime airtime and data credit advance service to comply with the new Digital, Electronic, Online or Non-Traditional Consumer Lending Regulations, 2025. The company says the suspension is not expected to have a material impact on revenue, but investors will get a clearer picture when Q1 2026 results are released.
