Mutfwang Adjusts Curfew in Plateau State for Security

On a recent date, Governor Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau State convened an expanded security meeting at the Government House in Jos, aimed at reinforcing peace and stability across the state. The meeting brought together heads of security agencies and chairmen from the 17 local government areas to review the security situation from the past week and explore proactive strategies to prevent further breaches.

During the session, Mutfwang announced an adjustment to the existing curfew, now set from 6 PM to 6 AM, directing security agencies to ensure strict enforcement. He emphasized the importance of inter-agency collaboration and warned that violators of the curfew would face prosecution.

The meeting was attended by key officials, including Deputy Governor Ngo Josephin Piyo and ALGON Chairman Hamisu Anani, who described the meeting as crucial for addressing recurring security concerns, particularly in the Jos metropolitan area.
