Femi Fani-Kayode Appointed Nigeria's Ambassador to South Africa

Femi Fani-Kayode received his letter of credence to serve as Nigeria's ambassador to the Republic of South Africa, the Kingdom of Lesotho, and the Kingdom of Eswatini on Tuesday. He expressed gratitude for this milestone, noting that he had obtained the necessary agreement to honorably receive the letter of credence.

Fani-Kayode will present his letter of credence to South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, starting his duties at the Nigerian High Commission. He emphasized the significance of this appointment, referring to it as a divine opportunity to serve his country once again, 20 years after he last served as Minister of Aviation.

Fani-Kayode thanked God for the opportunity and expressed appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his confidence in him, requesting prayers from the public for his success in this role.
