Emir of Ilorin Backs APC Candidates Ahead of Elections

The Emir of Ilorin, Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, expressed his support for candidates endorsed by Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq during a visit from leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at his palace.

The Emir highlighted the impressive turnout of party members and commended Governor Abdulrazaq for his transformative programs in Kwara State. He emphasized the importance of acknowledging good governance and expressed confidence that the APC would perform well in the upcoming 2027 general elections.

The delegation included prominent APC figures such as Rt. Hon.

Yakubu Salihu Danladi and Princ Sundai Fagbemi, who informed the Emir about the party's candidate selection process. The Emir called for unity and support for the APC, stating that with divine guidance, the party would achieve electoral success.

He also addressed grievances from stakeholders, advocating for peace and reconciliation within the party.
