Davido Discusses Children's Questions on Different Mothers

In a candid interview with BBC, Nigerian afrobeat star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, discussed the complexities of his family life, particularly regarding his children from multiple women. He revealed that his two eldest daughters, Imade and Hailei, have been asking why they have different mothers and why they do not live together.

This situation has caused him stress and has influenced his music. Davido mentioned that his first daughter, Imade, approached him after seeing him on television dancing with two girls, prompting her questions about their family structure.

He acknowledged the challenges of being involved with multiple women and the impact it has on his children. Davido has six children from different relationships, including Imade, born in 2015 to Sophia Momodu, and Hailei, born in 2017 to Veronica Adeleke.

He also has a son, Ifeanyi, with his wife Chioma Adeleke, who tragically passed away.
