Real Warri Pikin Apologizes for Viral Stage Incident

Anita Asuoha, popularly known as Real Warri Pikin, issued an apology to her husband, Ikechukwu, and her fans following a viral video that captured her joining singer Timaya on stage during a performance. The incident occurred spontaneously while she was backstage enjoying Timaya's performance.

In her statement on Sunday, she clarified that she was unaware of Timaya's intention to carry the woman who joined him on stage for his song "Ukwu." Real Warri Pikin expressed that she was hesitant when Timaya encouraged her to jump towards him but eventually complied after he insisted it would not disrupt the show. She took full responsibility for her actions, stating, "Na me put myself for this one o," and requested that Nigerians ease up on her, noting that her husband was upset with her while she was in America.
