Titi Abubakar Critiques Tinubu, Supports Atiku for 2027

Titi Abubakar, wife of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, expressed concerns about the current administration under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, questioning how people are managing under his leadership. Speaking at an ADC All Support Groups Town Hall Meeting in Abuja, she encouraged youths to take ownership of the political process ahead of the 2027 elections.

Titi stated that although Atiku has pledged to serve only one term if elected, his performance would lead Nigerians to desire his continuation in office. She described Atiku as an experienced politician and philanthropist who would not need to learn governance on the job.

Titi highlighted that Atiku aims to improve the lives of Nigerians and has committed to ensuring that 40 percent of government appointments go to youths and women. She urged voters to avoid accepting money from politicians in exchange for their votes, warning that such actions could jeopardize future generations.
