Social Media Feminist Claims Threats After Ex-Lover's Post

Folakemi Martins, a 26-year-old social media feminist, has reported that her life is in danger after a public dispute with gym instructor Dennis Emmanuel. The conflict arose when Emmanuel accused Martins of harassment and shared her two telephone numbers online, resulting in her receiving threatening calls and messages.

Martins stated that since the incident, she has been unable to leave her home and her family has also faced threats. She claims that the harassment began after Emmanuel publicly made his accusations and shared her contact information.

Martins asserts that she was unaware of Emmanuel's marital status when they began their relationship on May 9, 2026, and ended it in August due to suspicions of his involvement with another woman. She has initiated legal action against Emmanuel for defamation and endangerment, seeking damages for the harm to her reputation and mental health.
