Bella Shmurda Reveals Bicycle Theft for Studio Funds

In a resurfaced interview clip from approximately four years ago, singer Bella Shmurda, born Abiola Ahmed Akinbiyi, confessed to stealing a neighbor's son's bicycle while living in Okoko, Lagos. He sold the bicycle for ₦7,000 in Alaba to finance half of a studio session.

Bella expressed remorse over the incident, stating it was painful, but he later made amends by purchasing a new bicycle for the boy. He used this experience to caution young aspiring artists against resorting to crime, emphasizing that such choices can lead to uncomfortable situations.

The clip has garnered positive reactions, with many praising his honesty and noting that he took responsibility for his actions.
