Alia Promises Re-election Success Through Development

Benue State Governor Hyacinth Alia asserted that the development projects and economic reforms initiated by his administration will facilitate his re-election in the 2027 governorship election. Speaking through his Chief Press Secretary, Kula Tersoo, Alia dismissed concerns over opposition attacks, urging them to focus on governance rather than political distractions.

He highlighted a recent Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed with Hudson Global Ltd, aimed at attracting a $5 billion investment to transform Benue's economy. Alia pointed to ongoing road construction projects, improved worker welfare, and care for senior citizens as significant achievements.

He noted that his administration has enhanced accountability and transparency in managing state resources, restoring Benue's creditworthy status and creating a safer environment for investors. Alia called on opposition politicians to cease what he termed political distractions and allow his administration to concentrate on delivering development to the people of Benue.
