NAF Airstrikes Eliminate Terrorists in Sambisa Forest

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) executed precise airstrikes in Sambisa Forest, resulting in the elimination of several terrorists. This operation was confirmed by Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodam on Tuesday in Abuja.

The military has intensified pressure on terrorist elements in the northeast, following credible intelligence and reconnaissance that identified active terrorist presence within fortified structures and bunkers. NAF air assets engaged these targets with precision munitions, destroying structures and neutralizing multiple terrorists.

The operations also confirmed damage to logistical facilities. Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sundai Aneke, reaffirmed NAF's commitment to relentless, intelligence-driven air operations until all terrorist elements are completely neutralized, emphasizing the importance of protecting personnel and ensuring the safety of citizens.

The NAF will continue to intensify precise engagements across the theater while adhering strictly to rules of engagement to minimize civilian harm.
