Nigerian Air Force Updates on Detained Plane and Crew in Burkina Faso

The Nigerian Air Force confirmed that its C-130 transport aircraft made a precautionary landing in Bobo Dioulasso, Burkina Faso, before resuming its journey to Accra, Ghana. The aircraft and crew are safe, undergoing routine maintenance after heightened public attention.

Nigerian diplomats engaged with Burkina Faso authorities as a precautionary measure. Nigerian officials, including Yusuf Tuggar and Bola Tinubu, met with Burkina Faso's leader, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, to discuss the incident.

The detained crew is reported safe, and the aircraft remains in service.
