Nigerian Air Force Neutralizes Over 40 Terrorists in Borno Operations

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) carried out operations in Borno, eliminating more than 40 terrorists. Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodam Sundai Anek disclosed that the operations on January 15-16 targeted terrorist elements attempting to regroup.

The NAF's swift response to distress calls led to successful air strikes, significantly degrading terrorist presence. Ground troops and local authorities confirmed the success, ensuring calm in the affected areas.

The Chief of Air Staff reaffirmed NAF's commitment to providing air support to ground forces, emphasizing intelligence-led operations.
