Nigerian Air Force Neutralizes Over 40 Terrorists in Borno State

The Nigerian Air Force conducted successful airstrikes in Borno State, neutralizing more than 40 terrorists in the Azir Musarram area. The operations on January 15-16 targeted terrorist elements attempting to regroup, leading to a significant degradation of their presence.

The airstrikes were part of close air support and air interdiction operations to support ground forces. Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sundai Anek, reaffirmed the commitment to providing decisive air support.

The operations showcased effective intelligence-led air power and close coordination with ground troops to deny terrorists freedom of action.
