NAF Airstrikes Neutralize Senior Terrorists in Borno

On February 28, 2026, the Nigerian Air Force (NAF), through the Joint Task Force Operation Hadin Kai, executed intelligence-driven airstrikes against terrorist elements in the Sambisa area of Borno. A statement from NAF spokesperson Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodam confirmed that the operation was based on corroborated intelligence surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR), which identified structures serving as terrorist command hideouts and logistics warehouses.

The airstrikes successfully engaged valid targets, dismantling critical terrorist infrastructure. Post-strike assessments indicated the neutralization of several high-value terrorist operatives, including senior commanders coordinating hostile activities in the region.
