NAF to Intensify Air Operations Against Terrorism

During an Eid el-Fitr luncheon in Makurdi, Benue State, the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sundai Anek, reaffirmed the Nigerian Air Force's (NAF) commitment to sustaining intensified air operations against terrorist and criminal elements throughout Nigeria. He expressed gratitude to the troops involved in Operation Whirl Stroke and acknowledged their courage, discipline, and sacrifices.

Anek emphasized the NAF's resolve to conduct intelligence-driven air campaigns designed to degrade the operational capabilities of terrorist networks. He noted that recent operations have significantly disrupted the adversaries' logistics and command structures.

Anek also highlighted the importance of joint operations with sister services and security agencies. Air Vice Marshal Edward Gabkwet and Air Vice Marshal Mc Ekwuem commended the personnel for their dedication and high morale, stressing the need to maintain operational focus and unity in confronting emerging threats.
