NAHCO Renews Key Airline Contracts, Exports Solar Cells

NAHCO, a Nigerian aviation handling company, has renewed major contracts with Qatar Airways for three years, reinforcing a long-standing relationship, and secured a five-year contract extension with Saudia Airlines. ASKY Airlines also renewed its partnership with NAHCO for an additional three years.

Furthermore, NAHCO announced the commencement of solar cell exports to the United States starting in January 2026, marking a significant milestone in its cargo handling operations. The solar cell export project will utilize scheduled carriers, including Lufthansa, Ethiopian Airlines, Turkish Airlines, and DHL, with shipments ranging from 20 to 50 tons per consignment.

NAHCO's Group Executive Director of Commercial Business Development, Princ Sahe Lasisi, expressed confidence in the airline partnerships, reflecting the company's strong service record. NAHCO's Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Olumuyiwa Olumekun, emphasized the company's commitment to operational efficiency and innovation, aiming to set benchmarks for safety and reliability in African aviation.
