NAHCO Extends Key Aviation Contracts and Solar Exports

Nigerian Aviation Handling Company PLC (NAHCO) has announced the extension of its contracts with Qatar Airways for three additional years, Saudia Airlines for five years, and ASKY for three years, further solidifying its dominance in the ground handling segment of the aviation industry. Additionally, NAHCO signed a new contract with FlyGabon, which will commence in October 2024 and run until September 2027, aligning with FlyGabon’s expansion into the Nigerian market.

NAHCO is also set to begin exporting solar cells to the United States from its Lagos unit, starting in January 2026. The company aims to handle cargo shipments ranging from 20 to 50 tons per consignment.

NAHCO's Executive Director of Commercial Business Development, Princ Sahe Lasisi, expressed pride in securing long-term contracts, while CEO Mr. Olumuyiwa Olumekun emphasized the company's commitment to technological advancements and operational discipline to maintain its reputation in the industry.
