NAHCON Sets Deadline for 2026 Hajj Fares Payment

The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) announced a final deadline of December 31, 2025, for the completion of payments for the 2026 Hajj fares. Chairman Abdullahi Usman revealed the deadline during a press conference in Kano, emphasizing the importance of timely payments for efficient preparations.

States were instructed to remit a 50% deposit by October 8, 2025, to secure allocations. Usman highlighted the need for early payments to facilitate camp bookings and ensure better services for pilgrims.

The announcement aimed to streamline the payment process and enhance the overall experience for Nigerian pilgrims participating in the upcoming Hajj.
