NAICOM Reaffirms Commitment to Takaful Growth in Nigeria

Mr. Olusegun Ayo Omosehin, the Commissioner for Insurance and Chief Executive Officer of the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM), reaffirmed the commission's commitment to fostering the growth of Takaful and Microinsurance in Nigeria.

This statement was made during a courtesy visit by the Board and Management of Noor Takaful, led by Chairman Amb. Shuaibu Ahmad.

Omosehin commended Noor Takaful's progress and urged the company to pursue greater ambition in expanding its market reach, driving product innovation, and enhancing public awareness. As Noor Takaful approaches its 10th anniversary, he encouraged the leadership to accelerate outreach and customer education, emphasizing Takaful's role in providing access to protection for underserved communities.

Both NAICOM and Noor Takaful expressed optimism about strengthening their collaboration to promote trust, innovation, and inclusive insurance for all Nigerians.
