Naira Marley sets date, time to break silence on Mohbad’s death

Nigerian Afrobeats artist Naira Marley has announced that he will break his silence on the death of his former signee, Mohbad, in an exclusive interview scheduled for 8 PM today on the Marlian Music YouTube channel. Mohbad, whose real name is Ilerioluwa Aloba, tragically passed away on September 12, 2023, at the age of 27, leading to nationwide grief and controversy.

Marley had previously reported threats to Mohbad's life. The late singer's body was exhumed for an autopsy as part of an ongoing investigation.

Marley was arrested on October 3, 2023, and spent 44 days in custody before being cleared by the court, along with two others, of any involvement in Mohbad's death.
