NANS Screening Panel Starts Verification for 2026 Convention

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) screening panel has officially begun the verification process for aspirants ahead of the 2026 national convention. This initiative follows an exclusive meeting held in Abuja on Monday, where the subcommittee convened to kickstart the screening process.

The meeting was chaired by Comrade Ambassador Okereafor Bestman, who emphasized the importance of a credible and transparent process. He urged members to remain committed and diligent in their responsibilities, adhering strictly to NANS' established guidelines.

Comrade Dele Kenko, chairman of the NANS 2026 ICPC, expressed confidence in the committee's ability to uphold justice and fairness throughout the screening exercise. The verification process will commence daily at 10 AM on a first-come, first-served basis, requiring aspirants to present original copies of their credential intent forms along with ten photocopies of relevant documents.

Representatives from various states, including Bayelsa, Kogi, Katsina, Gombe, Kaduna, Abia, Enugu, Rivers, and Taraba, were present at the meeting.
