NANS Urges APC to Choose Youthful Candidate in Kwara

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has called on the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State to prioritize selecting a youthful and competent candidate for the Offa, Oyun, and Ifelodun Federal Constituency elections. NANS President Olushola Oladoja highlighted the importance of the party embracing informed choices that reflect the demands of voters for tangible results rather than political rhetoric.

He urged the APC to consider candidates like Akeem Ayinla Ishola, who represents a new generation of leadership and has a strong connection with the youth and student population. Ishola's background in student leadership equips him to mobilize and advocate for societal issues effectively.

Despite not holding public office, he has demonstrated commitment to community development through initiatives such as classroom block renovations and healthcare facility support. Oladoja emphasized that Ishola's candidacy aligns with the growing national demand for youth participation in governance and urged the APC leadership to act accordingly to define the future representation of the constituency.
