Danladi Emerges APC Governorship Candidate for Kwara 2027

Hon. Salihu Yakubu Danladi has been declared the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2027 elections in Kwara State, following his victory in the party's primaries where he secured 94,990 votes, defeating nine other aspirants. Political office holders from the Kwara North Senatorial District have expressed their support for Danladi, emphasizing his competence, humility, and leadership qualities necessary to move the state forward.

They noted that this candidacy represents a historic moment for the region, which has not produced a governor since the return to democratic rule in 1999, while other regions have held the governorship for extended periods.
