NAPTIP Uncovers Massive Child Trafficking Network in Benue and Abuja

The agency's investigation uncovered a syndicate selling children for amounts ranging from 1 to 3 million naira per child across multiple states.

The suspects operated under the guise of a fake humanitarian program called "Back to School Project," deceiving vulnerable families. NAPTIP's efforts led to the arrest of key individuals involved in the trafficking ring, with further investigations ongoing in various states.
