Agara Launches 9,050-Member Campaign Team for 2027 Bid

On Sunday, Hon. Sila Ali Agara, the former Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State, inaugurated a 9,050-member campaign committee to spearhead his senatorial bid for the 2027 elections.

The committee includes 260 members selected from various wards and local government areas, with 8,790 members tracing 586 polling units across 15 electoral wards. Agara emphasized that the committee is a broad mix of experienced politicians and grassroots mobilizers from three local government areas that constitute the senatorial zone, specifically Akwanga, Wamba, and Nasarawa Eggon.

The initiative aims to actualize the senatorial ambition for Nasarawa North in the 2027 elections under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), challenging the current governor, Abdullahi Sule. The campaign team will serve as a central coordinating body responsible for driving campaign strategies and mobilizing support.

Agara expressed gratitude to the people of the zone and assured them of his commitment to delivering on promises made during the campaign.
