Nasarawa Deputy Speaker Survives Ghastly Car Accident

Muhammad Adamu Oyanki, the Deputy Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, was involved in a serious motor accident along the Keffi-Akwanga highway. Reports indicate that the vehicle was severely damaged but no lives were lost in the incident.

Following the crash, Speaker of the House, Dr. Danladi Jatau, along with other members of the assembly, inspected the wreckage at the assembly complex in Lafia.

Jatau described the incident as unfortunate but expressed gratitude to God for the safety of those involved. Meanwhile, Senator Aliyu Wadada has declared his intention to run for the governorship under the Progress Congress ahead of the 2027 general elections.

This announcement was made during a meeting with political appointees at the government house in Lafia, signaling the beginning of political alignments for the race to succeed the current governor, Abdullahi Sule. Wadada is currently representing Nasarawa West in the 10th Senate and recently defected from the Social Democratic Party to the APC.
