Nasarawa First Lady Urges Female Journalists on Ethics

Hajiya Silifat Abdullahi Sule, the First Lady of Nasarawa State, commended the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Nasarawa State Chapter, for its commitment to responsible journalism, women's empowerment, and developmental advocacy. Speaking at an event in Lafia that marked the executive committee's first year in office and the unveiling of the Compendium of Nasarawa Amazons, she urged female journalists to uphold professional ethics to foster growth and development in the state.

Represented by Comrade Juliana Ofoku, Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Hajiya Sule described the event's theme as timely and essential, highlighting the significance of preserving cultural heritage and inspiring younger generations. Upon receiving a recognition award, she dedicated it to the women of Nasarawa State, reaffirming her commitment to supporting women-focused initiatives and her ongoing partnership as Patron of NAWOJ.
