Jibril Sabo Keana Declares Governorship Bid for Nasarawa

Jibril Sabo Keana, the former publicity secretary of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), has officially declared his intention to contest for the governorship of Nasarawa State in the 2027 general elections. He made this announcement at the African Democratic Congress (ADC) secretariat in Keana, where he presented his letter of interest.

Keana, popularly known as JSK, stated that his ambition is not driven by personal power but by a responsibility to restore confidence in leadership and promote inclusive growth for the people of Nasarawa State. He unveiled an eight-point development agenda aimed at transforming the state, which includes initiatives for community security, agricultural support, healthcare improvements, and educational infrastructure.

Keana called on the party and citizens to unite behind his vision for progress, emphasizing that his focus is on serving the people rather than seeking personal power.
