Nasarawa Government Prosecutes 96 Individuals for Sanitation Violations

The Nasarawa State government has prosecuted 96 individuals for breaching sanitation laws across 13 local government areas. Chief Prosecutor of Sanitation Offenses, Abubakar Moham, revealed the arrests following a monthly sanitation exercise in Lafia.

Meanwhile, the state's waste management authority, NSWMSA, led by Christoph Abari, finalized plans to revitalize two underutilized waste recycling plants in Lafia and Karu. The move aims to improve waste management, reduce pollution, and safeguard public health through enhanced waste processing efficiency.
