NASENI & AfriLabs Launch ₦250M InnovateNaija Youth Challenge in Nigeria

The National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) has partnered with AfriLabs to launch InnovateNaija, a ₦250 million youth innovation challenge in Nigeria. InnovateNaija aims to inspire and empower the brightest minds in the nation, focusing on homegrown innovation in science, engineering, and manufacturing.

The competition will kick off on September 4, 2025, at GITEX Nigeria 10x Stage in Lagos, with the goal of fostering innovation across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory. Young Nigerians are invited to submit their inventions and products through engaging video entries, with a total prize pool of ₦1 million.

The top innovators will compete in a grand finale pitch event at the NASENI Invention Fest in Abuja in February 2026.
