The NASWADEN taskforce in Alimosho apprehended 57 illegal night scavengers who were operating in violation of the association's guidelines. The crackdown, following consultations with stakeholders, aimed to address rising criminal activities and public safety concerns associated with illegal scavenging.

The Chairman of NASWADEN Alimosho, Ado Sa'adu, emphasized the importance of upholding lawful practices and purging bad elements from the association. The individuals apprehended, including Habibud Hamod, Sani Ibrahim, and others, were recognized as independent operators flouting regulations.
