Lagos govt begins clearance operations in Festac Town (VIDEO)

The Lagos State Ministry of Environment and Water Resources has initiated clearance operations in Festac Town in collaboration with Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) and Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA). The exercise aims to restore order, remove waste, and improve the environment for residents.

The newly elected Chairman of Amuwo Odofin Local Government has been commended for initiating this partnership. Lagos Commissioner of Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, confirmed the operation and expressed gratitude for the collaboration.

He emphasized the importance of such partnerships in governance and assured the readiness of the state government to work towards creating a cleaner and healthier Lagos. The operation is part of ongoing efforts to enhance the living conditions in the area.
