Natasha Akpoti Urges Senate Probe into Ochanya Ogbanje's Controversial Death

Natasha Akpoti, representing Kogi Central Senatorial District, called on the Senate to probe the circumstances surrounding the death of Ochanya Ogbanje, a student of Federal Government Girls' College Gboko who died in 2018 from sexual abuse. Akpoti accused individuals of trying to shield responsibility and emphasized the need for justice for Ochanya's family.

The matter was referred to the Committee on Ethics and Public Petitions for review and recommendations by Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
