Senator Natasha to Resume Duties as Senate Unseals Office

Senator Natasha, representing Kogi Central in the National Assembly, is set to resume plenary in the second week of October 2025 after being suspended for six months due to misconduct. The suspension, which included the withdrawal of salary and security detail, barred her from accessing the National Assembly premises.

Despite ongoing legal issues, a peaceful resolution between Natasha and the Senate leadership has been achieved. The Sergeant at Arms of the National Assembly, along with security personnel, unsealed Natasha's office following a Senate leadership meeting.

The Senate has postponed plenary resumption to October 7, indicating a positive development in resolving the dispute.
