Tinubu Appoints Dr. Fatima Suleiman Zuntu as NBMA DG

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of Dr. Fatima Suleiman Zuntu as the new Director-General and Chief Executive Officer of the National Biosafety Management Agency (NBMA).

This appointment is effective from April 16, 2026, and is set for a term of four years, in accordance with the provisions of Section 5 of the National Biosafety Management Agency Act of 2015. Dr.

Fatima Suleiman Zuntu is recognized as a public health professional and policy strategist with a proven track record in driving impactful national programs. The President has tasked Dr.

Zuntu to contribute her expertise to the agency for the betterment of the nation.
