APC Elects New National Working Committee Ahead of 2027

On October 8, 2023, the All Progressives Congress (APC) conducted its national convention at Eagle Square in Abuja, resulting in the election of a new National Working Committee (NWC) in preparation for the 2027 general elections. The newly elected officials include Prof.

Nentaw Yilwatda as National Chairman, Ali Bukar Dalori as Deputy National Chairman (North), and Dr. Benjamin Obi Nwoy as Deputy National Chairman (South).

Other key positions filled are Sen. Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru as National Secretary, Prof.

Abdulkarim Abubakar Kana as Deputy National Secretary, and Murtala Aliyu Kankia as National Legal Adviser. The committee also includes Uguru Mathew Ofok as National Treasurer and Amb.

Haruna Ginsau as National Financial Secretary. Additional roles were assigned to various deputy secretaries and leaders for women, youth, and persons with disabilities, ensuring representation across different demographics within the party.
