APC Elects New National Working Committee for 2027 Elections

On October 8, 2023, the All Progressives Congress (APC) held its national convention at Eagle Square in Abuja, where it elected a new National Working Committee (NWC) in preparation for the 2027 general elections. Prof.

Nentaw Yilwatda was elected as the National Chairman, with Ali Bukar Dalori serving as the Deputy National Chairman for the North and Dr. Benjamin Obi Nwoy as the Deputy National Chairman for the South.

Other notable appointments include Sen. Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru as National Secretary, Murtala Aliyu Kankia as National Legal Adviser, and Uguru Mathew Ofok as National Treasurer.

The committee also includes Amb. Haruna Ginsau as National Financial Secretary and Muhammad Sulaiman Argungu as National Organizing Secretary.

The roles of Deputy National Secretaries, Women Leader, Youth Leader, and various ex-officio members were also filled, reflecting a diverse representation within the party's leadership structure.
