PDP Chieftains Petition NJC Over Alleged Judicial Abuse by Oyo Judge

Three PDP chieftains have petitioned the NJC, alleging judicial abuse by Justice L. Akintola of the Oyo State High Court.

They accuse him of issuing an ex parte order that contradicted a previous Federal High Court judgment, restraining the PDP from holding its national convention. The petition seeks NJC's intervention to probe the judge's actions and ensure judicial integrity.

The chieftains believe the judge's conduct undermines the judiciary's credibility. The dispute arose from the planned PDP national convention scheduled for November 15-16 in Ibadan, Oyo State.
