PDP Chieftains Petition NJC Against Justice Akintola Over Convention Injunction

Three PDP chieftains, including Austin Nwachukwu and Amah Abraham Nnanna, have taken legal action against Justice Akintola of the Oyo State High Court, accusing him of abusing the judicial process by issuing an injunction to halt the party's national convention scheduled for November 15-16, 2025, in Ibadan. The chieftains allege that Justice Akintola's actions were reckless and violated due process, despite a previous ruling from the Federal High Court in Abuja against such an injunction.

The petition seeks an investigation and disciplinary action by the NJC.
