National Unity Key to Nigeria's Security Challenges

On Saturday, Minister Christoph Musa, during the West African Social Activities (WASA) event held at the Nigerian Army headquarters in Abuja, identified national unity as a decisive solution to Nigeria's contemporary security challenges. He commended the Nigerian Army for exemplifying cohesion and professionalism in their actions.

The event was attended by senior officials, including Major General Henri Wesley and Lieutenant General Waidi Shaibu, who reiterated the importance of unity as a strategic asset for safeguarding peace and stability in Nigeria. Musa described the Nigerian Army as a microcosm of the nation, representing its ethnic, cultural, and religious diversity.

He noted that unity is crucial in confronting complex and evolving security threats. The Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Waidi Shaibu, emphasized the importance of welfare policies and reforms to ensure personnel remain motivated and combat-ready.
