England Squad Sees Key Returns for Nations League Matches

Trent Alexander-Arnold, a full-back for Real Madrid, and Cole Palmer have been recalled to the England squad for upcoming UEFA Nations League matches against Spain, Czech Republic, and Croatia. This marks Alexander-Arnold's first call-up in 15 months, during which he made two La Liga starts under coach Jose Mourinho.

Rio Ngumoha, a striker for Liverpool, returns after making his senior international debut against New Zealand in June but was not included in the World Cup squad by coach Thomas Tuchel. Alex Scott from Bournemouth, Lewis Hall of Newcastle United, and Jarrad Branthwaite from Everton also return after missing the World Cup.

Scott is expected to make his debut under Tuchel's management. England's Nations League campaign begins on September 26 with a home match against Spain, followed by an away game against the Czech Republic on September 29, and matches against Croatia on October 3 and the Czech Republic again on October 6.
