Dangote Cuts Petrol Prices in 11 States, Faces Criticism from DAPPMAN

Dangote Petroleum Refinery has introduced a new petrol distribution scheme in 11 Nigerian states, offering cheaper fuel prices and free delivery. The refinery set the petrol price at N820 per litre, with retail prices ranging from N841 to N865 across different states.

This initiative aims to provide relief to consumers and improve fuel distribution efficiency. However, the Depot and Petroleum Products Marketers Association of Nigeria (DAPPMAN) criticized Dangote's pricing strategy, claiming it could disrupt the market.

Independent Petroleum Marketers Association (IPMAN) directed its members to access direct supply from Dangote Refinery to enhance fuel distribution nationwide.
