Nigerian Navy Strengthens Ties with Egyptian Navy

The Nigerian Navy is deepening its ties with the Egyptian Navy to advance its indigenous shipbuilding capacity and strengthen maritime special operations. This engagement is part of an ongoing cross-attachment program and collaboration between the two naval forces.

Captain Abiodun Folorunsho, the Director of Naval Information, stated that the partnership includes technical discussions and a guided tour of the capabilities at the Naval Dockyard in Lagos. The visit aims to provide a platform for knowledge exchange and reinforce cooperation in shipbuilding and sustainment efforts.

The collaboration highlights the commitment of both navies to enhance their operational capabilities and foster stronger military relations.
