NCAA Approves Gusau Airport for 2026 Hajj Operations

The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has cleared Gusau Airport for operations related to the 2026 Hajj following a technical assessment conducted by a delegation led by General Manager Bayod B and Director Ahmad Abba Dure. The inspection evaluated critical infrastructure, including the runway, terminal building, and control tower, and the NCAA team expressed satisfaction with the quality of work, noting that it meets aviation requirements.

The NCAA's approval reflects the commitment of the Zamfara State government to provide a safe and modern aviation facility for residents and travelers. The airport is expected to improve air connectivity in Zamfara, reduce travel stress for pilgrims, and strengthen the state's transport infrastructure.
