NCS President Omonisi Pledges Support for Cancer Patients in Nigeria

The Nigerian Cancer Society (NCS) reaffirmed its commitment to supporting cancer patients nationwide during an interactive session in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. President of NCS, Professor Abidemi Omonisi, emphasized the need for enhanced survivorship support and access to essential cancer drugs.

The session aimed to engage survivors directly and address the challenges of rising costs and limited drug availability. The event featured cancer survivors sharing personal stories, including Princess Tinu Lawal and Peace Ogaranya.

The NCS President's dedication to partnering with the private sector and international organizations, alongside the Federal Government, underscores the society's mission to improve cancer care and support systems in Nigeria.
