NDC Elects Dr. Johnpaul Anih as Enugu State Chairman

The Nigeria Democrat Congress (NDC) held its state congress in Enugu, where Dr. Johnpaul Anih was elected as the state chairman, and Dr.

Sebastin Chukwuebuka Okafor was elected as the state secretary. This election, which included 28 other positions, was conducted following a consensus agreement among party delegates.

Engr. Echezona Ogbanuf, the secretary of the state congress committee, announced Dr.

Anih's election after a motion for the dissolution of the acting executive was adopted. The newly elected leadership was urged to galvanize support for the party, embrace new members, and maintain unity, discipline, and loyalty.

Dr. Anih expressed gratitude to the delegates for their trust and pledged to lead fairly and work tirelessly to strengthen the party's internal structure.

He acknowledged the contributions of outgoing chairman Engr. Obetta and emphasized the importance of transparency and accountability in party affairs.
